Q. Where are my garments made?
- Your mastectomy clothes are cut and sewn in Manitoba, Canada according to the options you
chose when you place your order. If for any reason your choices are not available, we will notify you
before we cut and sew your garment.
Q. Will I have to remeasure every time I buy a garment?
- Your measurements and options are kept on file (and not shared with any 3rd party) so it’s
even easier to order the second time.
Q. How long will it take for my garment to be made?
- Every mastectomy garment is custom made to order and is ready in just 4-8 weeks from the
time we receive your order. The time frame for when you get your garment will vary somewhat,
dependent on the shipping you choose and how fast your garment will go through the customs of your
country.
Products such as the books and comfort blankets and pillows we try to ship out within 24-36 hours,
except on the weekends when there is no postal service. Orders shipped by small packet air take 7-10
business days to most places in Canada and the US. International orders are shipped the cheapest rate
unless you specify a different rate, and the arrival date can vary by several weeks. You will be notified
by email as to when your order was mailed and what rate it was mailed by.
Q. How will I get my garments?
- All products are shipped by mail - small packet air if dimensions and weight allow, unless if you
specifiy otherwise in an email to us. When the dimensions and weight exceed the small packet air
regulations, your order will be shipped by regular ground mail. All garments, small gifts, most pillows and
gift packs fall into the dimensions and weight for small packet air rates.
Q. In what currency is the pricing?
- All prices for our products are listed in US dollars. If you'd like to see the conversion rate to your
country's currency, click this link. In Manitoba, the government will not assist with the finances of
purchasing any other mastectomy garment than an actual formal mastectomy bra. Check with your local
governing authorities to see what their ruling is about this matter.
Q. Who will all see my credit card information?
- When you make a purchase in our online store you pay by credit card through a Yahoo E-commerce
secure site. (We never see your credit card information)

than going through the online store checkout with paypal.
Q. What is your return and refund policy?
- Your satisfaction is our aim and desire. We try our best to make the garment fit you with the
measurements that you provide when you place your order. If we see some measurements on your
order that we think might be a possible overlook, we will contact you first before we start making your
pattern.
- Because these garments are custom made, we cannot give a refund unless we have made a mistake
with your measurements when we made the garment. We encourage you to send us an email
(lillian@mastectomydesigns.com), give us a call on our toll free number (for Canada & US) 1-866-594-
7435, or use the extra custom measurements if you have any questions about your measurements
when you place your order.
- For an extra $35.00, you can request extra custom work to be done on the designs, but there is no
refund or return on these garments. This does not mean the extra custom measurements that you
have an option to use if you desire when placing your order.
- Refunds and returns must be arranged by contacting us within 14 days of receiving the order. Orders
mailed back to us without first arranging it with us or after the 14 days will not be refunded.
We do not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people, except to provide
products or services you have requested.
- We do not provide any of your personal information to the people we sub contract our work except
such information that we think is necessary in the making of your product.
- JSAW Mastectomy Designs may update this policy from time to time. When significant changes are made
about how we treat your personal information, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you supply us
or post a change of policy notice on our site.
